Formal organization of St. John's Presbyterian
Church. |
| 1903 |
Sabbath School Hall officially opened. |
| 1906 |
Cornerstone laid for new Sanctuary. |
| 1907 |
Church formally dedicated to the worship and service of
God. |
| 1925 |
Union of Presbyterian, Methodist and Congregational churches
formed the United Church of Canada. St. John's became home
to the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada and was known as a
strong mission church. |
| 1974 |
Sanctuary destroyed by fire; only the old Sabbath hall
was left undamaged. |
| 1981 |
Newly built Sanctuary dedicated. |
| 1982 |
Friendship Centre destroyed by fire and once more the members
of St. John's went to work to rebuild.
