First, you need a program to create your page. You may already have a page created and do not need something new. If this is the case, you may want to skip directly to Step Three which will help you upload your site onto our server. The following instructions are only for the programs listed below. There are more than thirty-one different programs on the Internet that you can use to create a web page. We believe the following programs are two of the easiest to learn for beginners. You can find other HTML programs at www.tucows.com but they are not covered in the following instruction pages.
Installing Microsoft FrontPage Express 2.0 If you have recently installed Axion's Easy Internet Access Kit 5.0, you should already have a copy of FrontPage Express 2.0 on your system. FrontPage Express is currently only for Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows ME. To see if you have the program already installed:

If you do NOT find an icon in the program group, you can easily install the program onto your system. You will need to make sure you have the Easy Internet Access Kit 5.0 in your system.
If you do not have Axion's Easy Internet Access Kit 5.0, you can still acquire a copy of this program through Windows Update. First, start Internet Explorer and at the top of the browser on the "Links" toolbar will be a selection for Windows Update. You should also be able to access Windows Update from your Start menu. If you have any questions regarding this, email webtech@axion.netInstalling Netscape Composer If you have Netscape Communicator 4.5 or higher, you already have a copy of Netscape Composer on your system. Unfortunately, you cannot download Netscape Composer on its own; you must have the complete download of Netscape Communicator. If you do NOT have Netscape Composer on your system, you will need to download a copy of this program. You can download this program directly from Axion's web page: Click Here. There are two ways to see if you have Netscape Composer installed on your system:
You can also start Netscape Composer from inside of the program itself. In the lower right hand corner of the screen you will see the following icon. By clicking on this icon (inside of Netscape) Netscape Composer will start.
Other Programs While we have provided examples and minor instructions for a few programs here there are many, many other programs to choose from. Some are visual while others are text based and take a little longer to master. Some programs are freeware, but many of the top HTML programs for both Windows and Macintosh are commercial software. Below you will find links to various websites where you can find HTML programs.
