Web Site Terms URL (Uniform Resource

other Internet facility. URLs are typed into the browser to access web pages,
and URLs are embedded within the pages themselves to provide the hypertext
links to other pages.
HTML (Hypertext Markup Language): The
document format used on the World Wide Web. Web pages are built with HTML tags,

Pronounced "wizzy-wig." It refers to displaying text and graphics on

Tips If this is your first time creating
a web site it is best to keep it very basic at first. Start out with
something that is very simple and then as you learn more you can always create a new
version of your page. If you have always wondered how someone
has created a particular website, you can view there source code. If you are
using Internet Explorer 5.5 or 6.0 you can see the source code by clicking on
'View' and then going to 'View Source'. If you are
using Netscape, you can see the source code by clicking on 'View' and then
'Page Source'. This is one of the best ways to learn how
something works. You may also want to send email (if you have not
done so already) to our help address at webtech@axion.net
and ask your question there. If you still require help or if you just
want to learn more about how to create a web site, please look below. ***********
