  • Tentatively open November 22, but will open earlier if snow conditions allow so

What are the average Winter Temperatures?

  • In January & February (the colder months) the average high is around 12oC or 28oF and low is 18oC or 18oF. The other Winter months are usually 2-10 degrees higher

What is the average Snow Fall?

  • The average is around 9.14 metres or 30 feet

Can I ski in the summer?

  • Blackcomb Mountain’s Horstman Glacier is open daily for summer skiing/snowboarding from 12pm-3pm until August 6, weather conditions permitting.

Is it easy to get around in Whistler?

  • The main village center is a pedestrian only village that can be crossed from one end to the other in around a 12 minute walk. There are also free shuttles available should you prefer not to walk.
