Welcome to
              Bradner  Llamas

Bradner Llamas is our retirement hobby farm
away from the hustle  and  bustle of the big city.

Our farm is located in the community of Bradner, in
the north west corner of  Abbotsford,  about 40 miles
east of Vancouver, British Columbia.  For more details
about our farm, please visit  (our farm)  page.

Bradner is better known for daffodils than llamas. It is the
daffodil center of the  Fraser Valley,  and for this reason we
have chosen the daffodil as our farm logo. For more information
about Bradner & for a bit of history, please see our (Bradner) page.

We moved to Bradner in the spring of 1995, and started flower and vegetable
gardening on our five acres.  In 1998 we experienced llamas for the first time
at local country fairs, such as the Bradner May Day parade shown above.

In 1999, we attended several llama society events, and in the spring of 2000 we
purchased three girls, and  Bradner Llamas  was born.    If you would like to
see a few pictures of (our girls),  please visit their page.

Being new llamas owners, and relatively new to country living,  we had many
questions to ask about farming in general, and llamas in particular.  The local
Fraser Valley llama community was extremely helpful to us and we would like
to thank the many members of the (Fraser Valley Llama & Alpaca Club) for
                their help and support.

We also found a wealth of information about llamas on the internet.  There are
many sites that contain very useful information and the ones that we like best are
                listed in our (links) page.

As for our site, we created it with the objective of helping other new owners like
ourselves, and people who think they might want to get involved with llamas, but
have many unanswered questions.   So if you are new to llamas, or just interested
in them, we hope you enjoy our site and find our  (Tips)  page helpful.
