This pyramidal candle engraved with regular designs has twelve colored layers and burns evenly. Just as a layer of the candle is completely melted, a fireball detonates. The lower the layer of the candle that detonates, the more wax is melted and the more powerful the fireball. The lowest layer of the candle generates a thirteen hit dice fireball, while the highest layer of the candle generates a two hit dice fireball. These fireballs inflict a d8 points of damage per hit dice and the save against them is at a difficulty of seventeen.
When the candle is upright, it takes twelve minutes for each layer of the candle to burn. On its side, the candle burns faster, taking only three minutes for each layer of the candle to burn. Held upside down, the candle burns faster still, taking only a minute for each layer of the candle to burn. Since the candle burns at a constant rate, should the candle be cut between a layer, the time for that layer to burn is proportional to the thickness remaining. The regular, engraved designs on the candle can be used to determine when the candle will detonate to within the nearest round if the candle is burning from an uncut layer, otherwise the detonation time can be determined to the nearest three rounds. Once a layer detonates, the remaining candle is considered to be uncut. The magic of each layer of the candle functions independently, so when the candle is cut through a layer, both parts of the candle can still function.

This smooth iron cannonball thirteen centimeters in diameter weighs ten kilograms; but, has a mass of a ton. A body at rest tends to remain at rest, a body in motion tends to remain in motion; this is a hundred times truer with this cannonball. When dropped side by side with a normal object, this cannonball will accelerate at one hundreth the rate of the normal object, hit the ground ten times later than the normal object at one tenth the velocity; but, with the same energy.
Because of its mass, it is difficult to maneuver while carrying this, so it is best transported by a porter or donkey that won't go into combat. This can be used as a portable ram, many people would push on the cannonball together for a minute to get it up to speed, then it would travel in a very shallow arc, enabling a team to slowly ram a door open from a distance. Because it falls so slowly, it can be used to reduce the falling speed of someone carrying it, enabling them to slowly leap from heights, hitting the ground slowly and taking relatively little damage. This can be used to make small leaps by it pushing upwards for a time, then holding onto it thereby moving slowly in a large parabola.

This gopher, like all the creatures produced by these magical carvings, has one hit point and an armor class of eighteen because of its small size and quickness; should it take one point of damage it will revert to carving form and stay that way for a week.
When the alert command word is spoken, the carving takes an erect, alert posture and should any new possibly dangerous creature that can be seen, heard or smelled from the vantage point of the carving approach within ten meters, the carving will turn into a living gopher and yell loudly. Speaking the sleep command word will put the gopher to sleep, in which case it will revert to the carving form of a sleeping gopher. Otherwise, the gopher can be attacked like all the live creatures produced by these magical carvings, should it revert to carving forming by taking damage insufficent to kill it, than it will stay in carving form for a day to heal, ignoring the alert command word in that time.

This cloak is covered with stylized red and orange flames. While wearing this cloak, the wearer is immune to the first thirty points of fire damage each round. Once a day the wearer of this cloak can cast a firestorm. This causes sheets of roaring flame to fill the area around the cloak in a ten meter radius. These raging flames do not harm natural vegetation, ground cover and plant creatures in the area; however, other creatures, including the wearer, take 13d6 points of fire damage, a successful reflex save at a difficulty of seventeen halves this damage.
With a word the wearer of the cloak can spontaneously combust, which kills him and sets him up for a possible reformation or reincarnation. This spontaneous combustion also happens if the last point of damage that killed the wearer was fire damage. After the spontaneous combustion a six sided die is used to determine the outcome. On a one the wearer reforms in a day. On a two the wearer reforms in a month. On a three the wearer reforms in a year. On a four the wearer reincarnates into an avian form in a day. On a five the wearer reincarnates into an avian form in a month. In all of these cases all of his equipment disappears with him and the wearer loses a level or if he is first level, a point of constitution. Should the wearer reincarnate into an avian form, any items that can not be worn by this new form will be on the ground at his feet. The avian form has a one third chance of being either an eagle, hawk or owl. This sky blue cloak is covered with wispy clouds. While wearing this cloak, the wearer is surrounded by a bubble of stationary air extending about ten centimeters from her body. This bubble protects her from wind enabling her to walk easily even in a gale. It also makes her immune to windchill and gives her protection from cold air equivalent to a bulky parka and face mask. It slows air flow to her which protects her from poisonous gases for a minute. The bubble is relatively weak and does not follow her underwater.
Once a day with a word of command, for nine rounds the air bubble will expand to a radius of five meters and the wearer will gain an enhancement bonus doubling her speed and maximum jumping distance. When running at her new maximum speed, everything in the area of the air bubble surrounding her will be affected as by a gust of wind. The force of this wind extinguishes unprotected flames such as those of torches and has a one in two chance of extinguishing protected flames such as those of lanterns. The gust of wind can also raise a cloud of sand, fan a fire, blow curtains away, blow down humanoids, buffet flying creatures and in general have the effects of a gale force wind. This gold coin has an appearance similar to that of the most recent gold coin it has been in the vicinity of for a duration of a week. Whenever an evocation spell target is within ten meters of this coin, the spell must succeed a caster level check against the thirteenth level coin or be attracted to the coin.
This means that, for instance, a fireball targeted close to the coin would instead target the coin spot on. For a spell that is a ray or cone, the target location is considered to be the half way point of the effect and that point is what is moved onto the coin, its direction staying the same. An evocation that can only target creatures, like a magic missile, will go towards the creature holding the coin. Should the coin not be held by a creature, a spell that only affects creatures will be unaffected. An evocation that creates a spell effect that once created can be moved, for instance Bigby's hand spells, would appear on the coin instead of its defined target; but, then afterwards can be moved as normal.

Whenever someone holds this coin and concentrates on it for a minute, they can enter its memory seeing and hearing from its past perspective as if they were scrying and the magical sensor was where the coin was. Because coins will usually be inside a bag or wallet, usually the scryer will only be able to hear things happening. Normally a scryer tries to connect to a place or person, with this coin they try to connect to a time or event; but, in both cases the mental skill used is the same.

This is a two meter square thin white curtain which always flutters slightly as if it is affected by a phantom wind. Once a day after wrapping this curtain around herself, if the wearer is less than heavily burdened, she and all her equipment transforms into an ethereal ghost. In ghost form she keeps her hit dice, hit points and physical attributes, becomes a self willed undead and exists on the ethereal plane.
As a ghost she can walk through walls and fly at the speed of an average humanoid. She can manifest with a partial action and become solely ethereal again also with a partial action. When she manifests she becomes visible; but remains incorporeal having a dual existence on the material and ethereal plane. On the material plane she has an armor class of ten plus a deflection bonus equal to her charisma modifier. She still isn't able to touch material creatures; but, she can affect them with spells and her special abilities listed below.
The saves against the special abilities conferred by this curtain are at a difficulty of sixteen plus the wearer's charisma modifier. Once a day she can blast living beings with a glance at a range of up to ten meters, creatures must succeed at a fortitude save or suffer 2d10 points of damage and 1d4 points of permanent charisma drain. Once a day she can moan as a standard action causing all living creatures within a ten meter spread to succeed at a will save or become panicked for 2d4 rounds. This is a sonic, necromantic, mind affecting fear effect. The effect of this lasts for one hour or until she removes it.
