Pump cost is the cost of the rocket engine pump. In pumped rockets, the pump will generally cost more than the rest of the rocket. Pumps are still worth it in resuable rockets because of the performance boost they provide.

The pump cost includes the direct cost of the pump and the indirect cost of lower reliability. Given pump density scale, pump power, pump power density, structure mass scale and ten megawatt price the pump cost can be calculated which is in turn used to calculate total rocket cost.

pump cost = pow( ( pump power density / 160,000 ), pump density scale ) * pow( ( pump power / 10,000,000 ), structure mass scale ) * ten megawatt price

total rocket cost = initial labor + pump cost + structure cost

This is used in rocket cost.
