I became a first aid attendant by "accident", you might say, and I've enjoyed it ever since!

Once, some 25 years ago, bemoaning my usual lack of money, I was advised that I should do something, "like get a... like a first aid ticket or something...." And so I did, getting my Industrial First Aid Ticket, Grade "C", in February 1983, joining the OFAAABC some time later, and eventually doing first aid --the only way to learn!

I encourage everyone, especially people with children or the elderly in their care, to learn at least basic first aid. With some training under your belt you are much more likely to remain calm, summon proper help, and prevent any further injury. You may very well save someone's life. And wouldn't that feel great!
