The plates are cut along the red lines for the input connections and along the blue line for the RCX connection.
Each switch input of the RCX Input Expander is connected to a double stud, three on each plate. The ground connection goes to the six stud long section, and the RCX connection goes to the two isolated two stud sections at the end. I have connected the isolated RCX sections together so it doesn't matter which side it is plugged in.
